Host Milano 2021 was certainly one of the most anticipated events by Lotus spa for this year. The International Professional Hospitality Fair represented an important opportunity to relaunch for all professionals in the catering sector.
Lotus also participated with a stand set up with the best products of its range of professional kitchens.
Due to the health emergency situation, the turnout at Host Milano 2021 was reduced compared to normal conditions.
Alan Dal Pos, CEO of Lotus spa, together with his communication staff, in anticipation of this low attendance, decided to structure an innovative system to visit the stand: the 3D Virtual Tour.
What follows are the highlights of the guided 3D Virtual Tour. Each virtual visitor will be able to enjoy the multimedia information prepared to present the products on display.
As they say "if Mohammed does not go to the mountain, the mountain goes to Mohammed".
2WAYSLOTUS: The Through Kitchen 110
The first “pass-through” range is born, to obtain great performance and cooking quality even in a small space. Lotus Spa has completed the construction of this new kitchen line presented at Host 2021 in Milan.
The kitchen today seeks the show that becomes the symbol of the restaurant. A new experience of aesthetics and gastronomy that presents the dish and the art of who prepare it. Life bounces on social media, and this kitchen with exposed pass-through system lends itself wonderfully for a selfie or a reaction. The kitchen guarantees the guests and becomes a promoter of social events and stories!

Freeblock 5.0: the professional modular kitchen
The professional kitchen of steel tailors, Lotus Freeblock 5.0.
This kitchen has been designed to create ad hoc workstations according to the needs of each chef, being able to implement it very easily with work plans, called Freeblocks, designed and tailored specifically for this purpose.
The kitchen top is the starting point of the project. Once the measurement is confirmed, the functions are being studied by sector and then the electric, gas, induction elements and compartments are following.
SuperChrome, Boilsteam© and TouchFry
As already mentioned, Host Milano 2021 was the opportunity to touch with hands 3 of the flagship products of the Lotus range:
- SuperChrome, the chromed fry-top with Full Safe certification by Moka;
- Boilsteam© the professional multipurpose pastacooker with steamer function;
- TouchFry the professional fryer with touch screen control.
For each one of these products, a special area has been set up both inside the stand and in the 3D Virtual Tour, with multimedia content and product presentation videos.

LED Wall exhibition and Case Study
As to make the stand spectacular and engaging for onlookers, Lotus spa set up a mega LED Wall that would broadcast the details of its products and the case histories in which special goals were achieved.
The case studies are the result of the synergistic collaboration established with customers who, in the long term, have also turned out to be real partners and ambassadors.
For this reason, a special space was also reserved for them inside the Lotus stand.
Virtual Tour 3D: technology at your service
The 3D Virtual Tour starts with an image from the top of the stand, and then goes down to its initial section, the entrance to the stand.
On the left you can see the passing-through kitchen while on the right we arranged a Freeblock 5.0 view.
The LED Wall stands out in the background with the corner reserved for SuperChrome, Boilsteam © and TouchFry on the left.
The user will have the opportunity to move 360° in their position and to go inside the stand by moving between the semi-opaque circles arranged along the path.
For the products on display there are additional orange and blue circles to indicate the multimedia content explaining the product, both in video and in catalogue format.
