A journey of continuous company growth and innovation
Lotus was established in 1985 as a manufacturer of small equipment for professional catering, initially specialising in products and solutions for the snack sector, for sandwich bars, small cafés and German-style snack kiosks, etc...
At that time, the company was making the historic 50 Series and 60 Series, countertop fryers and pastry fryers, which marked the first steps of our journey. With the introduction of the 65 Series and then the 700 Series, we began expanding our professional solutions, enhancing their potential to meet increasingly articulate and specific needs.
In its first ten years, Lotus consolidated its position as a leader in the snack industry, making products not only for its own brand but also for other big names. However, our desire to evolve led us to an important decision: to focus on the creation of bigger and more complex equipment. As a result, Lotus presented the 700 Series at the Host trade fair in the late 1990s, marking a key turning point in the company's growth.
The evolution doesn't end there: in 2003, again at Host, it was the turn of the 900 Series, Iperlotus 90, a system designed to meet the needs of catering businesses that work with large numbers. Since then, our commitment to research and development has led us to move forward on two parallel fronts: significant restyling, such as that of the Series 60 and Series 70, and the launch of innovative products such as the Monobloc and the 2WaysLotus Through Series, leading to the introduction of increasingly sophisticated and high-performance digital solutions.
An increasingly comprehensive, complete and technological customer service
The introduction of the Lotus App, constantly updated social media channels and continuously evolving video tutorials have enabled us to provide all-round assistance, making interaction with our products and services quicker and easier than ever before.

When Lotus was established, its target market was exclusively European. We have always been convinced that the Italian market was important, but at the same time, we have always been keenly interested in exports. Over the years, Lotus made the decision to look beyond Europe's borders, gradually expanding into North Africa, the Middle East and, more recently, many other areas around the world. Today, Lotus exports its products to over 80% of the world, with representative offices in Dubai and Bangkok.
