Attending the fair, seeing familiar faces again, shaking new hands and listening to the stories of those who work in kitchens every day: these are the moments when our work really takes shape. HIP Madrid 2026 - Hospitality Innovation Planet, held at IFEMA Madrid from 16 to 18 February - was much more than just a trade fair for us; it was a real opportunity for discussion, inspiration and exchange with HoReCa professionals from all over Europe.
After our recent participation in HORECAVA, an important international trade fair held in January, this event was our second major exhibition within just a few weeks, reflecting a conscious decision that reflects our belief in the value of exchange, meeting and listening that only trade fairs can offer.
HIP Madrid, a hospitality trade fair with a strong focus on end users – restaurants, hotel chains and franchises – has confirmed its status as one of Europe's leading events for innovation in the restaurant and hospitality industry. A dynamic environment in which technology, design and new operating models contribute to defining future trends in the field. And of course, Lotus Cucine, with its keen sensitivity to market developments, simply had to be there!
At the stand of our partner Kitchen Consult, longstanding official distributor of our importer Mainho in the Madrid area, we presented one of our company's flagship products, the touch monobloc, previously showcased at Host Milano, now enhanced with a new handrail with a built-in system of ingredient trays. This solution attracted the attention of numerous visitors thanks to its ability to combine functionality, ergonomics and attention to the real operational needs of professional kitchens.
Our participation in HIP Madrid 2026 ended with extremely positive results for Lotus, both in terms of stand attendance and the quality of the contacts we made. This experience has strengthened our conviction that it is important to attend the main international events in the sector and encourages us to continue our journey of innovation, growth and sharing together with HoReCa professionals.
