Lotus Cloud was created in the year of our company's 40th anniversary.
A new milestone that develops and further strengthens those concepts of maximum digitisation and sustainable innovation at the service of catering professionals, which are the keystones of our history and our continuous evolution.
The Lotus Cloud platform revolutionises the monitoring and management of our TouchFry high-performance fryers and the Iperlotus 90 touch digital line. Thanks to the Wi-Fi connection, the machines in the touch line are integrated into a single cloud system, thereby offering numerous benefits to all players in the supply chain (manufacturer, importer, distributor, and end user), albeit with different levels of access.
Let's take a closer look.
The manufacturer will have full access to the cloud to carry out monitoring and direct interventions on the machines. This will enable it to act remotely in a timely and safe manner if it encounters breakdowns or anomalies in the machines' proper operation, thus improving efficiency and maintenance as well as reducing downtime.
Intermediaries (importers and distributors) will have limited access to the cloud, but still sufficient to be able to detect and monitor any failures or malfunctions, thereby optimising after-sales service management.
End users will have access to the cloud to monitor the performance of their equipment, collect data for HACCP management and enter customised programs on certain machines. They will also be able to keep track of energy consumption, for example monitoring the total time the heating elements are used and the energy consumed. A valuable opportunity to act accordingly, optimising efficiency and consumption.
Another important feature of Lotus Cloud that will benefit end users is the automatic loading of new software versions for the touch machines. The company will update the system with new software releases remotely, allowing customers to take advantage of the most advanced features in real time.
The launch of Lotus Cloud once again confirms our company's ongoing investment in technological innovation which, in this case through advanced solutions for detailed equipment monitoring, allows to optimise performance, reduce consumption and contribute to more sustainable resource management.
