There are moments in which our team’s everyday operations become something more: vision, connections, new roads that open up before us. And that’s exactly what the last few weeks have been for us here at Lotus Cooking.
Just as spring was starting to bloom, we took part in two major international events that marked a significant step forward in our company’s global growth: Hotelex Shanghai (30 March – 2 April) and Marocotel (1 – 5 April). Two different markets, two distant cultures, but a single underlying theme: a passion for excellence and smart innovation in professional kitchens.
Hotelex Shanghai is one of Asia’s leading hospitality and foodservice trade fairs, a key event for operators in the hotel and restaurant industries and professionals in the kitchen equipment business.
Our participation, together with our new exclusive importer Shanghai Miji Hotel Equipment Co. Ltd., represents much more than just being present at the trade fair: it marks the tangible beginning of a whole new phase. We have already had the opportunity to engage with the Chinese market via targeted projects over the years, enabling us to understand its dynamics and requirements, which are often very different in terms of approach, organisation and the way equipment is used compared to the European market. Today, however, this journey is becoming more structured, thanks to a solid and highly qualified partnership.
We felt a genuine and growing interest in our products during the fair.
The combination of the Iperlotus 90 and Superlotus 90 attracted particular attention from professionals and members of the trade, confirming our ability to navigate even complex and constantly evolving contexts. The experience was made even more meaningful by a significant networking event held outside the fair: a dinner organised in collaboration with our partner, which brought together key clients, consultants and kitchen contractors. This was a valuable opportunity to talk about our company, our values and our vision in a more direct and personal setting.
Almost at the same time, we played a leading role at Marocotel, the largest international trade fair for the hospitality sector in Morocco and, more generally, throughout North Africa, which attracts large numbers of distributors, members of the trade and hospitality professionals every year.
On this occasion, we exhibited alongside Polyvaisselle Equipements, our exclusive importer and point of reference in Casablanca. Here too, we encountered enthusiasm, curiosity and keen interest in our products and technologies: clear signs of a dynamic, growing market that is increasingly open to innovation.
Looking back on these two experiences, we take away much more than just contacts and opportunities; we gain confirmation that we are on the right track. Every meeting, every conversation, every expression of interest in our products is a piece in a bigger puzzle. We continue to grow, explore and build. With the same energy as ever, but with an increasingly international outlook.
