HOSTMILANO 2025: an edition to remember

There is something special in the air in Milan when the spotlights shine on HOST, the international trade fair par excellence dedicated to professional hospitality and catering. An overwhelming energy that can be felt in the halls and the crowded corridors, and seen on the faces of those who contribute every day to the growth of this sector, with enthusiasm and expertise.

The 2025 edition of Host was a huge success for Lotus, the perfect culmination of a special year marked by our company's 40th anniversary. Attendance exceeded all expectations, our stand was always full of people and full of life, and our calendar was packed with meetings that turned into tangible opportunities for exchange, discussion and inspiration.

Here's a brief summary of how it went:

Beyond the fair: a place of connections and visions.

Over these five busy days we had the pleasure of meeting our sales network, talking to established and potential customers, listening to the needs of those who spend every day in the kitchen, and bringing our contribution to the debate on the future of professional catering. HOST once again proved to be much more than a trade fair: it was a crossroads of relationships, ideas and visions, a sort of stage where we were able to talk live about who we are and where we are going, promoting teamwork and sharing goals and challenges.

Our innovations at the centre of international attention.

One of the most gratifying moments was seeing how much interest was aroused by the digital evolution of our 70 and 110 lines, which now feature user-friendly touch interfaces designed to make the user experience even simpler, more efficient and more precise. An important step forward in the direction of an increasingly smart and connected kitchen, to meet the daily needs of chefs, kitchen staff and operators in the industry.

There is also a lot of enthusiasm surrounding the new generation of cookware, revised in terms of design and internal components, specialised in cooking large quantities of liquid or semi-liquid foods. Both mechanical and digital solutions that automate complex processes, guaranteeing constant control, consistent results and significant savings in time and resources.

The new braising pans stood out alongside them as versatile tools that can be used for braising, roasting, frying, boiling and managing complex preparations with the utmost flexibility. A practical response to the demand for versatility and adaptability that now comes from professional kitchens of all sizes, these too having been redesigned to be more efficient and easier to clean. 

Another innovation, as simple as it is revolutionary, that has really hit the mark are the new H2 internal compartments, entirely without corners, designed to simplify cleaning, raise the level of hygiene even further and guarantee maximum compliance with increasingly demanding health regulations. A responsible and forward-looking technical solution.

A very special anniversary to share.

This edition of HostMilano was also very special for us: it was the perfect opportunity to continue the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Lotus. An event, after the fair, designed to welcome international customers and agents who, for logistical reasons, had been unable to attend the big party held at Villa Brandolini d'Adda in Sacile in September. A warm and intimate moment, characterised by stories, toasts and glimpses of the future. Because every goal has even more value when it is shared.

Returning from Milan filled with enthusiasm, new prospects and many strengthened relationships is the best result we could have hoped for. Our warmest thanks go to all those who came to visit us, who listened to us, who gave us an idea or asked a question. The experience of Host 2025 has confirmed once again that our industry is constantly evolving and that innovation really does make a difference when it is at the service of people and the quality of work.
