There are times when it’s good to stop for a moment. To forget the hectic pace of daily life, hard work and deadlines, just for one evening. And to reconnect.
On the 11th of September, that's exactly how we celebrated the end of summer here at Lotus: together.
An evening made up of good food, great music, smiles and lots of conversation. A moment designed to bring us together in a different way, outside of our daily working routine, to meet up in a more informal setting and share something that goes beyond the things we do every day.
For one evening, the workplace was transformed into a space for socialising and enjoying each other’s company. People who spend their days cooperating, planning, overcoming challenges and setting new goals had the chance to get to know each other even better, share experiences and simply enjoy some time together.
Because a team isn’t built only by working side by side. It’s built by getting to know each other, forging relationships and sharing experiences and emotions. Even in the simplest of moments: sitting round a table, listening to music, laughing or talking about things we might not have had time to share during a working day.
These are the very moments that add value to relationships and strengthen that sense of belonging which brings a team closer together. Sharing time and emotions means forming more genuine bonds, both inside and outside the company, and building a way of working based not only on professionalism, but also on trust, collaboration and the joy of feeling that you’re part of something.
The end-of-summer party was also an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made so far and get ready for what’s to come. Getting back together after the summer break gave us a chance to recharge our batteries, reignite our enthusiasm and start again with a fresh outlook.
Because every new challenge is easier to face when you know you can rely on the people around you.
And we're ready to get going again. With new ideas, new projects and fresh energy. But also with something that remains: the strength of a team that grows together, one step at a time.
Inside and outside the company, it’s people who make the difference.
And after an evening like this, we’re ready to get back to work. Together.
